"I just deleted my facebook account." Whoever says this LIES because you can't even delete it. I DEACTIVATED mine a few days ago. And reactivated it already. It's just so hard with or without facebook. I am not sure if some of my friends would even contact me if I didn't have facebook. How sad is this?! But then, having a second identity to care about online is so annoying. You get tagged in photos which starts creating an image of you. You then upload your own photos, to show everybody you're not only a weird drunkard as in the photos. You get tagged in more photos, people write on your wall, you answer. You realize you stalk people and people stalk you. You start being conscious about the photos you are tagged in and all your posts and friends but you can't just delete them all. You upload more and more and more and more to keep that image of you up-to-date, to make it better, make it change everyday as you do, to make it perfect and to make you perfect. It's just so EXHAUSTING. Well, for me anyway. Maybe everybody else is fully relaxed about their online identity. not...
Plus I hate facebook's privacy politics. My dad is convinced facebook is creates by the C.I.A. to find criminals. HAHA. but - Who knows... And who knows, I might delete - sorry, deactivate - my account again soon.
